John Seago serves as the longtime Legislative Director for Texas Right to Life where he leads the research, writing, and lobbying for state Pro-Life and medical ethics policies in the Texas State Legislature. He earned a Bachelor in Philosophy and Biblical Studies from Southeastern College at Wake Forest, North Carolina, studied philosophy at the University of Dallas for several years and received a Master’s in Bioethics from Trinity International University in Chicago. John is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Bioethics and Health Policy at Loyola University Chicago. He has presented papers before the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities and the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity. John lives in Austin with his wife, Brandy, and two children.
